JACQUELINE PARKER CREATIVE TERMS OF SERVICE
Welcome to Jacqueline Parker Creative (JPC).
Important Disclaimer: By using our online platform (www.melbournemakeupartist.com) to book hair and/or makeup services, and ticking the acceptance box on our booking form, you indicate that you have read, understood, and agreed to both JPC’s Terms and Conditions and your selected hair and makeup artist’s (stylist’s) Terms and Conditions (below). Please read all T&Cs carefully before making a booking.
1. GENERAL
-
Jacqueline Parker Creative (JPC) operates as an online platform that facilitates introductions between a client (you) and individual trading hair and makeup artists (stylists), who each run their own independent businesses under an Australian Business Number (ABN). JPC’s role is to pass on booking requests from clients to the stylists, recommend stylists who have been vetted for quality and professionalism, and provide quotes from those stylists’ businesses to clients.
-
JPC does not manage stylists’ calendars or handle bookings on their behalf. Once a client secures a booking, it is the client’s responsibility to liaise directly with the stylist to reconfirm all details prior to the appointment.
-
JPC’s role is limited to facilitating connections and recommendations only, and JPC is not responsible or liable for the work performed by the stylists. Clients acknowledge that JPC’s service is entirely separate from the services rendered by the stylist, and JPC makes no warranties or guarantees regarding the quality, suitability, or outcome of the stylist’s services.
-
The stylist’s full name and ABN are available in the stylist’s T&Cs, listed below.
-
By booking through the JPC platform, clients acknowledge that the contractual relationship exists solely between the client and the stylist, and any disputes or claims arising from the services provided are to be resolved directly with the stylist.
-
Please note that by making your booking we have assumed implied consent to add you to our mailing list. Please email us at hello@jacquelineparkercreative.com if you wish to be removed, or use the unsubscribe button in any emails sent.
2. SATISFACTION GUARANTEE

-
An initial deposit is required at the time of booking and will be processed/collected through the JPC website on behalf of the stylist. The deposit is non-refundable, unless the stylist is unable to accept your booking. Please refer to our refund policy HERE.
-
JPC does not process or handle any payments beyond the initial deposit. Any secondary deposit or the remaining balance is payable directly to the stylist as per their own individual terms and conditions (refer to their T&Cs below or any specific communication with the stylist post-booking).
-
Completion of the online booking form constitutes a contract of service between the client and the stylist.
-

PEGGY STASINOS TERMS OF SERVICE
ABN 11328915408
Securing Your Booking
Peggy Stasinos Makeup requires a non-refundable and non-transferable booking fee to secure your booking. The booking fee covers security of holding your date, any administration, planning, communication etc. If you proceed with your booking, this booking fee will be deducted from the full cost of the service.
All bookings are made on a “first-come-first-served” basis. All bookings are subject to availability and no dates will be guaranteed without a booking fee.
An initial deposit is payable via the Jacqueline Parker Recommended Stylists portal when you book, which is $25 per adult hair or makeup, and $10 per child hair or makeup.
Peggy will then take your deposit up to 30% of the total quote (Total Agreed Fee). This is payable within 7 days of booking and can be done via EFT. Once you have paid this booking fee, a contract is formed for the quoted services between you and Peggy Stasinos Makeup. In paying the booking fee you are agreeing to all terms and conditions.
Fee Balances
The balance of the Total Agreed Fee is payable at least 7 days before the date of the service, or prior to the day of the booking for services made less than 7 days in advance.
Payments
Payments are to be made by bank transfer (must be received prior to the service). Personal cheques are not accepted.
Early call out Fee
Early call out before 6.30am will incur an additional cost of $30 per half hour
Assistant Fee
Parties of 5 parties or more may require an assistant(s) and this is subject to additional fees which will be provided to the client for approval ahead of time
Changes to your booking
We are unable to offer discounts should any member of your bridal party forego a prearranged service after the booking is confirmed and the booking fee is paid.
Additional fees will be applied should your service needs change or if additional services are added to this bridal booking.
Any extra “last minute” bookings on the day of the bridal makeup service must be notified prior to the event, or if unavoidable, at the commencement of the makeup service. Makeup requests on the day of the wedding may not be able to be accommodated, but we will do our best. If the bookings can be accommodated, they will be charged in accordance with standard rates and for these situations we will accept cash as payment.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your booking, the booking fee is non-refundable because to secure your preferred date, we are likely to have turned away other business. If we cancel your booking, we will refund the Booking fee.
If you cancel your bridal service with less than 2 months’ notice, you will be required to pay the balance of the wedding in full. If you have already paid in full, this payment will be retained for the inconvenience of late cancellations and loss of other wedding or other business, unless otherwise agreed.
In the unlikely event that the stylist is unable to attend the client’s booking due to sickness, injury, personal emergency or any other circumstance beyond her control, the stylist will endeavour to find a replacement artist of a similar standard. If a replacement is found the client will receive a 10% off the quoted services (excluding travel fee). Please note that finding a replacement is not guaranteed. If the stylist is unable to find a replacement the client will receive a full refund of monies paid, less trial cost.
COVID-19
In the event that your booking is impacted by COVID-19 government mandated lockdowns and restrictions, we will happily reschedule your booking to your new date without charge. In the event that new date is not available, I will refund the booking fee.
Bridal trials
Bridal trials are only available to clients who have placed a deposit to secure their wedding day. If you have not placed a deposit, I cannot schedule in a trial. Bridal trials are undertaken at my home in post code 3166.
Unsafe conditions
Client acknowledges and agrees that verbal abuse of the bridal stylist is unacceptable by any person and shall be grounds for stylist to cease services immediately. The Client acknowledges that they will not be entitled to any refund in these circumstances.
Service Location Requirements: the location of services on the wedding day is at the discretion of the Client but there are certain requirements the stylists need to complete services (eg clean space, electrical outlet, ample room, tables and chairs). Please advise if access to location is difficult i.e; lots of stairs etc.
Late Arrivals
If anyone in the bridal party is more than 15 minutes late, the scope of the original Agreement cannot be fulfilled due to the client’s lateness and services may be reduced;
If a bridal party is more than 30 minutes late, the assumption will be that the client is a “no-show” and the Client forfeits all fees. This policy is in place out of respect for our services and other clients; we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
If, for any reason Peggy Stasinos Makeup becomes unavailable on the date of your booking, a replacement and equivalently skilled and experienced makeup artist will be sourced for you, at no additional cost to you. Although we can never 100% guarantee that another stylist will be available (especially during peak times), but will always do whatever is humanly possible to never leave you stranded for services.
