JACQUELINE PARKER CREATIVE
RECOMMENDED STYLISTS TERMS & CONDITIONS

C R E A T I V E
Welcome to Jacqueline Parker Creative's Recommended Stylist Service (JPCRS). This service is for when we are unable to accommodate your booking. With your consent, we will recommend you other freelance stylists we know and trust, who operate independently from Jacqueline Parker Creative (JPC).
Important Disclaimer: By using our platform to book a recommended hair and/or makeup artist, and ticking the acceptance box on our booking form, you indicate that you have read, understood, and agreed to both JPC’s Terms and Conditions (directly below) AND your selected stylist's Terms and Conditions (underneath JPC’s T&C’s below). Please read these carefully before making a booking.
1. GENERAL
-
JPCRS operates as an online platform that facilitates introductions between a client (you) and individual trading hair and makeup artists (stylists), who each run their own independent businesses under an Australian Business Number (ABN). Our role under this service is to pass on booking requests from clients to these stylists, recommend stylists who have been vetted for quality and professionalism, and provide quotes from those stylists’ businesses to clients.
-
The recommended stylists are NOT employees of JPC. We do not manage their calendars or handle bookings on their behalf, however, JPC may send you a courtesy automated reminder email prior to your booking and a follow-up email afterwards to check how your experience was.
-
Once a client secures a booking using our platform, it is the client’s responsibility to liaise directly with the stylist regarding any questions they may have, booking changes or confirmation of booking details etc and to organise payment of the balance owed prior to the appointment.
-
Our role via the JPCRS service is limited to facilitating connections and recommendations only, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we are not responsible or liable for the work performed by the independent stylists. Clients acknowledge that our service is entirely separate from the services rendered by the stylist.
-
Your chosen stylist’s full business name and ABN are available in the stylist’s T&Cs shown below.
-
By booking a recommended stylist through our website, clients acknowledge that the contract for the hair and/or makeup services is between the client and the stylist, and any disputes or claims arising from those services are to be resolved directly with the stylist.
-
Please note that by making your booking we have assumed implied consent to add you to our mailing list. Please email us at hello@jacquelineparkercreative.com if you wish to be removed, or use the unsubscribe button in any emails sent.
2. PAYMENTS & CHARGES
-
Completion of the online booking form constitutes a contract of service between the client and the stylist, subject to these Terms & Conditions and the Stylist’s own Terms & Conditions.
-
An initial deposit is collected on behalf of the stylist via the JPC website as part of the booking process. The deposit is non-refundable except in select circumstances. Please familiarise yourself with our JPCRS full refund policy HERE before booking.
-
JPC does not process or handle any payments beyond the initial deposit. Any secondary deposit or the remaining balance is payable directly to the stylist as per their own individual terms and conditions (refer to their T&Cs below or any specific communication with the stylist post-booking).
-
Unpaid invoices that are overdue may be forwarded to a debt collection agency for recovery, including any associated costs.
3. HEALTH, ALLERGIES, SAFETY & INDEMNITY
-
The use of makeup, hair, and beauty products may result in allergic reactions, adverse health reactions, or injury. Clients agree to engage stylists at their own risk and acknowledge that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, JPC and its affiliates are not liable for any injury, harm, or adverse outcomes arising from services provided by stylists or their Directors, Instructors, Subcontractors, Employees, Assistants or Agents.
-
Any concerns regarding products or techniques to be used during the appointment should be discussed directly with the stylist before services are performed.
-
Clients are responsible for ensuring that the premises provided for services are safe, hazard-free, and suitable for the stylist’s needs.
-
To the fullest extent permitted by law, clients agree to indemnify Jacqueline Parker Creative and any stylist recommended by JPC against all claims and all costs, liability and expenses incurred by Jacqueline Parker Creative, arising wholly or in part from the use of the venue, the client's breach of these Terms and Conditions, or any act or omission by them, the client's visitors, employees, agents and contractors (including a negligent act or omission) in respect of:
a) Loss or damage to property; and
b) Illness, injury or death of any person.
4. RECOMMENDATIONS & ENDORSEMENTS
-
JPC may provide recommendations or endorsements for certain stylists listed on our platform, based on previous experiences or a comprehensive vetting process. These recommendations reflect JPC’s subjective opinion and personal experience but do not constitute a warranty or guarantee of the stylist’s performance, suitability, or outcomes of the services provided.
-
JPC’s vetting process ensures that stylists meet our standards of quality and professionalism; however, clients acknowledge that JPC does not guarantee the performance or results of the services provided by an independent stylist.
-
JPC shall not be held liable for any discrepancy between a recommendation and the actual service outcome, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
-
Before booking, clients should review the stylist's portfolio and satisfy themselves that the stylist's work and style are suitable for their requirements.
-
The Recommended Stylist is responsible for the hair and/or makeup services they provide.
5. RESPONSIBILITY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
-
By booking a Recommended Stylist through the JPC website, clients acknowledge that JPC facilitates the introduction and initial booking process but does not provide the hair and/or makeup services performed by the Recommended Stylist and they are not an employee of JPC.
-
By engaging a stylist through the JPC platform, clients acknowledge and agree that to the fullest extent permitted by law, JPC, including its Directors, Employees, Instructors, Subcontractors, Assistants and Agents, are absolved from any liability arising from damage, loss, injury, illness, death, loss to property, damage to property, or other claims of any kind arising from the acts, omissions or services of an independent Recommended Stylist or their Directors, Employees, Instructors, Subcontractors, Assistants or Agents.
-
JPC is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from cancellations, delays, or alterations to services provided by stylists or their Directors, Instructors, Subcontractors, Employees, Assistants or Agents.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer right, guarantee, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR PLATFORM USE

-
To the extent permitted by law, JPC is not responsible for loss or damage resulting from technical issues, website outages, website errors, interruptions in service on the JPC platform or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
-
If you experience a technical problem while making a booking, please contact JPC so we can assist.
7. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING
-
Cancellation and rescheduling policies vary by recommended stylists. Clients are responsible for reviewing and complying with the stylist’s specific Terms & Conditions before booking, including any conditions relating to cancellations, rescheduling, refunds, changes to services or additional charges. Any cancellation, rescheduling or change requested after the booking has been confirmed should be discussed directly with the stylist.
-
JPC is not responsible for any cancellation fees or disputes between the client and the stylist
-
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JPC is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from cancellations, delays, rescheduling, alterations to services, disputes or discrepancies in pricing or availability caused by or relating to the independent stylist or their business.

-
JPC reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
